♿ Not Wheel-chair accessible
🎟️ Hosted by: Circular Munich e.V.
GoCircular Walk is a guided city walk that connects the everyday, often invisible, infrastructure of Munich’s circular economy, which is reshaping how the city produces, consumes and discards.
Rather than a lecture or panel, GoCircular Walk turns learning into movement and shared exploration. Participants join a small guided group that travels through the city of Munich, stopping at each stage to meet the people and organizations rethinking aspects of a beautiful economy such as materials, ownership or waste. Along the way, walkers will encounter local entrepreneurs driving circular economy initiatives. Each stop includes a short conversation, giving participants direct insight into how circular models function in practice - not just in theory.
The walk is designed to be accessible to anyone: no prior knowledge on circular economy principles is required. It’s built for residents and visitors wanting to make more conscious consumption choices.
There will be several stops along the walk and you may choose to engage in different ways to experience circularity in the city. Here are some of the ways you can do it.
Reuse and share: Bring one book that you no longer need, for others to read and enjoy.
Repair and learn: Bring 1-2 garments you would like to mend. After the walk, you are invited to join the Patch & Pour party at the 2030 Concept Store. All patches, materials, and tools — including two sewing machines — are free to use. Register here: https://luma.com/t6mow2fy
Rethink and explore: Watch this space! On 19 October at 8:00, we’ll officially launch the GoCircular Munich app — and the link will be posted right here! Then, at the GoCircular Walk on 23 October, you’ll get the chance to explore and navigate the app together with us, while discovering some of the people and places already shaping Munich’s circular economy.
Please note that photographs and video recordings will be taken during the event for documentation, reporting, and public communication purposes; for online events, this includes recordings of the session and screenshots. If you do not wish to be included in such recordings, please let us know on site or, for online events, at the start of the session (e.g. via chat) – you are also welcome to keep your camera switched off. We will take this into consideration.
