On Monday, October 19, 2026, at 12:00 pm, Munich Climate Week opens at Schloss Nymphenburg with a flashmob organized by the KNS Berufsfachschule für Gymnastik und Sport, supported by the Deutscher Sportlehrerverband. Under the motto "Every movement is good for the climate," students of the KNS surprise the public with a choreographed performance set to music.
The flashmob follows the youth conference LCOY Germany and turns its discussions into a visible, physical action. Young climate voices and movement professionals come together to kick off the week, which brings more than 300 partners and events across the city from October 19 to 25.
The message is simple: climate action starts in everyday life. Walking, cycling, and moving outdoors are good for the planet and for ourselves. The performance lasts about 15 minutes and is followed by a short welcome, a group photo, press and social media moments, and an open exchange with attendees.
