Hosted by Stiftung Menschen für Menschen, the European Biodiversity Coalition and Nature Wealth Foundation

Language: English
Location: Arri Kinos Club, Türkenstraße 91

The climate crisis is both a human crisis and a biodiversity crisis. Nature-based solutions offer the most natural way to address them together and, if well designed, deliver lasting impact.

We welcome the following Guests on this Panel:

Edit Kiss is Advisory Director at Finance Earth, bringing nearly two decades of experience in climate finance, carbon markets, and natural capital investing. She specializes in structuring investments in nature-based solutions, including forest restoration, REDD+, and blue carbon projects across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She has held senior investment roles at Mirova Natural Capital and Revalue Nature and contributes to international initiatives advancing conservation finance and biodiversity markets.

Alexa Mayer-Bosse leads Nature based Risk Solutions at Munich Re. With senior underwriter experience in forestry, carbon, agriculture, and parametric insurance, she specializes in assessing production risks and structuring risk transfer solutions. Her work leverages advanced remote sensing technologies. She holds an MBA in finance, marketing and ICT and is an active family farmer.

Dipjyoti Deb works at Airbus, where he focuses on climate resilience, innovation, and the application of aerospace technologies to address global challenges. He brings experience in technology and startup ecosystems, mentoring entrepreneurs and supporting international scaling. His work connects spacebased capabilities with climate adaptation, disaster response, and humanitarian action.

The panel will be moderated by Dr. Sebastian Brandis, CEO of Stiftung Menschen für Menschen, who has a deep track record of implementing nature-based solutions in Ethiopia.
