Climate technologies have made enormous progress. Many solutions that once depended on scientific breakthroughs are now technically mature and increasingly cost-competitive.

Yet deployment often remains slower than the technology itself would allow. New wind farms face local opposition, grid expansion is delayed by permitting processes, industrial projects depend on political support and regulation, and public resistance can emerge when people feel they bear the costs without sharing in the benefits.

So, is the main challenge still technological innovation or has it shifted to the socio-political level?

If the technology is ready, what is stopping us from deploying it at scale? And what needs to change in regulation, public acceptance, investment, industry collaboration, and IP strategies to turn technological progress into real-world impact?

Join Matterwave Ventures, VERBUND X Ventures, and TBK for an interactive discussion over a traditional yet sustainable Bavarian breakfast!
