Water is at the heart of climate. It is where climate risk becomes real and where the next generation of solutions must begin.

At the inaugural Munich Climate Week, The Water Foundation puts water at the centre of the climate conversation. As part of our mission, Water Independence for 1 Billion+ People, the Water Resilience Stage brings together decision makers, scientists and philosophers to explore how we move from water risk to implementation.

Water is moving to the top of the global agenda. TWF brings water users, standard setters, investors and technology together, creating the conditions for successful water action at scale. How can we connect policy, capital and technology to alleviate water stress and turn water risk into action? Across eight panels, we connect geopolitics, capital, prediction, engineering and transformation - from global water security to the decisions that cities, companies, investors and individuals can take today.

Expect live demonstrations, honest debate and the launch of TWF’s Water Stewardship Initiative for Cities. We will explore water as an investable opportunity capable of market-rate returns, how AI and prediction can help us act before water risks become crises, how competing demands from cities, energy, AI and industry can be reconciled, and how circular engineering can turn even difficult industrial water streams into resources.
