Carbon removal is emerging as a critical asset for achieving net zero, but scaling investment-grade solutions requires the right international frameworks. The Paris Agreement, particularly Article 6, offers significant opportunities to drive both country and corporate demand through cooperative approaches (6.2), the Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism (6.4), and non-market approaches (6.8). Hosted by Net Zero Lab and TÜV SÜD, this session will explore the technical, financial, and governance conditions needed to unlock large-scale investment in carbon removals.
