Breathwork for Climate Work: Resilience to Keep Playing the Long Game
🌐 Language: English
💶 Event free of charge
🎟️ Hosted by: Resilarium
Climate work runs on long timelines and rarely gives you any signal that it worked, which asks a lot of a nervous system over the years. When the body stays in activation mode for long stretches, it stops recovering properly, and the nervous system foundation that steady work depends on starts to erode. Somatic methods like breathwork act on that foundation directly, using breath and body to bring the nervous system into regulation.
This session shows you body and breath-based practices to move out of the work day and into the evening, so the day stops running in the background.
FYI: Another session on Wednesday covers courage and speaking your mind. You are welcome to visit both or either. German-speaking sessions available on Tuesday and Thursday.
Practicalities
Setting: You will need a quiet room where you can settle undisturbed, and headphones. You are welcome to gather colleagues and join together, with individual headphones.
Health note: Breathwork is not suitable during pregnancy, with epilepsy, cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, or major surgery in the last 3 months. If you are unsure, reach out to dora(at)resilarium.de before you register.
Your instructor
Dr. Dora Dzvonyar is a somatic coach working with leaders and high performers, and a certified Holosomatic Breathwork® facilitator. She spent years as Chief of Staff at a climate-tech scale-up, so she knows from the inside what working under sustained pressure does to the people carrying this work.
